China to Enforce Homegrown Mobile TV Standard

In a follow-up to an Asia Express article dated October 27, China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television will require all domestic mobile operators to adopt the new mobile TV standard STiMi (Satellite Terrestrial Interactive Multiservice Infrastructure), a homegrown standard released in August. The standard has been implemented on November 1.
